Obraduoart is Mayleen Reyes Aponte’s art business brand through which she creates custom hand-painted sneakers. Her request was to incorporate the image of a chameleon in the logo, which is a symbol she feels represented by and holds special meaning in her professional career as an artist. The solution was an interesting blend of type and illuestration, some letters hiding playfully behind the type in a similar way a real chameleon camouflages. It is a logo that is both playful, like the craft of painting, yet feels solid at the same time, reflecting the fact that it is a trustworthy business service.
